  • Seeking  Outside Operations Attendants
  • FACILITY DESCRIPTION: Active 27-hole facility that may be played as either 9 or 18 holes. All three designed by golf course architect Alfred Tull. In addition to the beautiful woodland setting, Sunken Meadow's 300-yard-long driving range offers expansive panoramic views of the north shore of Long Island Sound and Connecticut. Active facility with well over 70,000 rounds annually. Many opportunities.
  • Please keep in mind, business is season/weather driven. During warmer months/good weather hours are extended beginning as early as 5:30 am until dark. During winter months, hours are reduced, starting later with some closures or early dismissal due to inclement weather.
    • Seeking an Outside Operations Attendant who likes to work with people, has an outgoing personality, is a team player and can multi-task.
    • Greet customers by providing very good customer service.
    • Handle bags for customers and clean clubs. (currently suspended until further notice)
    • Maintain driving range by monitoring throughout shift, pick and clean golf balls, baskets, other as needed.
    • Golf carts: stage carts throughout shift and ensure a clean, working fleet. Clean carts and properly store for the evening.
    • Assist with setting up for clinics, events as needed.
    • Multiple closing shifts (afternoon to night) required. Must be available 4-5 days a week, able to work one weekend shift. 8 hour shifts, but will vary depending on weather and time of year. This is a position for summer, fall and winter.
    • Other duties as needed.
  • Compensation $13.00 hour, plus gratuities, playing and practice privileges, discounts on merchandise. (7/2)

The Club Fitting Specialist is responsible for custom fitting golf clubs to customer specifications while providing high quality customer service.
Responsibilities:
  • Properly custom fit all potential customers ensuring the best possible equipment for them
  • Maintain a positive, customer focused attitude by listening, understanding and responding to customer needs and offering creative solutions
  • Gather, input and report back customer-based data
  • Provide exceptional follow-up in a timely manner to all potential customers
  • Demonstrate strong communication and collaboration between team members
  • Increase revenue and profitability while meeting deadlines and working in an organized manner
  • Maintain superior product knowledge
  • Perform other related duties as required
Experience and Education Required:
  • Prior experience in golf retail sales and customer service
