Heins, Baker, Mielke Represent in PGA Senior Championship

Shawn Baker from the Greens at Half Hollow, Old Oak’s Bobby Heins, and Mark Mielke of Oyster Bay are representing the Met PGA in the field at the Senior PGA Championship. Baker and Heins are 2 of 35 PGA Professionals who qualified for this major championship based on their finish in last years' Senior PGA Professional National Championship. The Senior PGA Championship on May 21-24 will be played at the Pete Dye Course at French Link Resort in French Lick, IN.
The 76th Senior PGA Championship presented by KitchenAid will be broadcast worldwide in 125 countries and territories reaching more than 257 million households. There will be 12.5 hours of live coverage on Golf Channel and NBC with re-airs of the first two rounds on the Golf Channel. In addition, Golf Channel is on-site at French Lick for 4.5 hours of Golf Central programming. With the most historic and prestigious event in senior golf being held this week at French Lick Resort in French Lick, Indiana, "Walk With History" features compelling segments on Defending Champion Colin Montgomerie and includes an in-depth interview with Bernhard Langer by show host David Marr. In addition, 2009 Senior PGA Champion Michael Allen talks about how a special invite to the championship led to the victory that changed his life and new comers Paul Goydos and Lee Janzen arrive at French Lick with 2015 victories under their belt as ones to watch. Two club professionals are showcased in this special - Wake Forest Golf Coach Jerry Haas and 2010 PGA Patriot Award winner Jim Estes who has an emotional tie to the championship’s Memorial Day weekend.
