As many of you know, on December 1, 2016, new U.S. Department of Labor (DOL) federal overtime regulations will go into effect. Under the new regulations, the DOL has revised the minimum annual salary for most exempt employees from $23,660 (or $455 per week) to $47,476 (or $913 per week). We have received a number of questions from PGA Professionals and constituents related to the application and impact of these regulations in the golf industry and to PGA Professionals specifically.
