Sasho MacKenzie led the presentations arguing for heads-up putting and backing it all with the latest in human movement science. MacKenzie was followed up by the revered Chuck Cook, who talked about his personal approach when it comes to teaching the perfect swing. Cook touched on how he individualizes each and every approach to his student and that there really isn’t one glove that snugly fits all.
From there it was on to the awards ceremony. Rod Loesch was awarded the Sam Snead Award, but regretfully couldn’t make it to the meeting. He did, however take the time to record a very heartfelt and eloquent video acceptance that showed us just how grateful he was and how sorry he was that he couldn’t attend.
Grant Sturgeon was awarded the 2014 Player of the Year award and Darrell Kestener was honored as the 2014 Golf Professional of the Year.
When the dust was settled and the laughing, dining, and accolading had finished, the Pros came away with some valuable new knowledge and an excitement in knowing that the 2015 Golf Season has been kickstarted. We’re excited to see what else the season will bring.
